Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding was no less than a fairy-tale. The nuptials took place at Lake Como in Italy.

The mehendi had both Ranveer and Deepika in a Sabyasachi outfit dancing their hearts out along with close relatives and family.

They decided to pay homage to both their ancestory by having two weddings, one in Konkani style to honour Deepikas heritage and then a Sindhi Wedding to honor Ranveers heritage.

The Baaraat arrived on a boat to the wedding venue on a boat with Deepika and Ranveer carrying umbrellas and their parents covering their outfits with a shawl to hide their looks from the paparazzi.

The Kokani wedding was full of Kokani traditional rituals and both Deepika and Ranveer seemed to heartily enjoy them in. Deepika wore a traditonal kokni zari kanjeewaram sari while Ranveer wore an angwastram, kurta and dhoti. Both their outfits were done by Sabyasachi Mukharjee.

A full fledge gurudwara set was raised for the sindhi wedding where both matched their outfits in red. Deepika was seen in a traditional shaadi joda complete with red choonar, chooda, kaliren and heavy gold jewelry while Ranveer was seen in a red bandgala with jade malas and a pagdi. Sabyasachi was again the designer of choice for the blissful couple.

Twinning again in red, #deepveer continued their Sabyasachi streak when they wore beige and red outfits while arriving back in Mumbai from their Italian fairy-tale.

Ranveer wore an embroidered Rohit Baal sherwani while Deepika wore a Kanjeevaram gifted to her by her mother-in-law with Sabyasachi Jewellery.

Ranveers sister hosted a party for the happy couple which saw Ranveer in a quirky Manish Arora outfit and Deepika in Sabyasachi’s Dil e gulistan collection, channeling her inner Frida Kahlo. They seemed like they were having a lot of fun.

While arriving back in Mumbai, they again preferred to match their outfits, this time in style, with Deepika in beige and Ranveer in pink. No points for guessing their outfits were designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

Looks like the long celebrations are finally over and the #DeepVeer are finally ready to spend some quiet time with each-other.

Vivette Banquets wishes Deepika and Ranveer a very happy married life together.
